Cookie
policy.

The short version: Lynda’s own website analytics do not use cookies. Optional social-video players are the only part that may introduce third-party cookies or similar storage.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on a device. Websites and third-party services can use them to remember choices, provide features, measure use or recognise a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and device-access scripts.

Your choice

Choosing “Essential only” keeps the social players blocked. Choosing “Allow videos” loads Instagram and TikTok embeds. You can reopen the prompt and change the saved choice at any time.

Browser controls

You can also remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking all storage may mean the privacy prompt cannot remember your selection. Following a direct link to Instagram or TikTok takes you to that provider’s website and its own privacy settings.
